No, you cannot backdate coverage through TheZenith Connection.

The Acord form is coming up as a blank screen. What should I do?
  1. Click the Refresh Button on your browser's window.
  2. Adjust your browsers cache settings. Do the following:

Internet Explorer:

  1. Click on View and go to Internet Options.
  2. On the General Tab, click Settings.
  3. Under the section "Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages" click either "Every visit to the page" or "Every time you start Internet Explorer".
  4. Click "ok" twice.
  5. Click the Refresh Button on your browser's window.

Netscape Navigator:

  1. Click on Edit and go to Preferences.
  2. Click on the (+) sign beside Advanced, this will expand that list.
  3. Click on Cache.
  4. Click the "Clear Cache Memory" Button. Confirm that you want to delete the files.
  5. Click the "Clear Disk Cache" button. Confirm that you want to delete the files.
  6. In the "document in cache is compared to document on network" section, select either "Once per session" or "every time".
  7. Click "ok".
  8. Click your browser's back button.

Yes, TheZenith Connection - Inquiry. If you do not have this service, click on the "Email the Administrator" link at the bottom of any screen in the Rate & Quote application or contact your branch office for more information.

Is there a way to view policies online once they have been issued?

Yes. TheZenith Connection - Inquiry is an online service allowing you to access your customers billing and claims information. The claims data is updated the first week of every month and the billing data is updated daily. Please contact your Marketing or Underwriting Representative for more information.

No, our company policy is that we will not backdate coverage. Please contact your Underwriting Team for further questions.

Yes. All commonly owned businesses should be written together on one policy.

How long will I be able to view an application online?

Closed applications will not display in this view. An application is considered closed when it is more than 20 days past the effective date, an agent has deleted an application from the view, or the Underwriter has closed out the application. To keep an application active you must advance the effective date of the application.

What is considered a new venture?
  • Your customer is new in business or has been in business for less than nine months.
  • Your customer is just hiring employees and has not had prior Workers' Compensation coverage.
  • Your customer is buying an existing business and cannot obtain the loss runs from the prior owner.

Will the premium adjust if I enter a Normal Anniversary Date (NAD) different to the policy effective date?

No. If the normal anniversary date (NAD) for this customer is different than the effective date, the premium on our quote will not be completely accurate. Please advise your customer that the premium on the policy will differ from TheZenith Connection quote due to the application of their normal anniversary date. Of course, the policy will be issued correctly.

What needs to be kept in the agent's hardcopy file?
  • All notes and records from the sales process (including documentation of where answers to questions were obtained for TheZenith Connection).
  • The signed application, or whatever paperwork the agency procedures require.
  • Currently valued loss runs.

  • Semi Annual: $2,000 - $3,499
  • Quarterly: $3,500 - $4,999
  • Monthly: $5,000 and up

California

  • Annual: $0 - $499
  • Semi Annual: $500 - $999
  • Quarterly: $1,000 - $1,999
  • Monthly: $2,000 and up

Florida

  • Annual: $0 - $999
  • Quarterly: $1,000 - $4,999
  • Monthly: $5,000 and up

Texas

  • Annual: $0 - $2,499
